EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
MITRA JASHNI
Mitra Jashni is an art scholar and political-cultural researcher, holding a Master’s degree in Art and academic training in Art History and Modern Middle Eastern Studies.
She previously served as a Program Coordinator at Vrolijkheid Foundation, where she organized and coordinated artistic and cultural projects connecting artists, cultural figures, and refugee communities across Europe.
Jashni is the Executive Director of the Farashgard Foundation, Founder of Turquoise Women of Iran, and Cultural and Artistic Advisor to Iranian Americans for Liberty.
DANIEL JAFARI, M.D.

Dr. Daniel Jafari, a critical care emergency physician and assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and Surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University at Northwell Health in New York. Dr. Jafari trained in the United States and United Kingdom, and holds a Master’s in public health from the Imperial College London. Dr. Jafari is an ardent activist for various human rights issues. He contributes to international new media outlets, including the Boston Globe and Radio Farda.
THOMAS DATWYLER, TREASURER

Over the last twelve years, Thomas Datwyler has served as accountant and treasurer for numerous nonprofits, state and federal campaigns and committees. Thomas has extensive experience with FEC compliance and reporting, contribution processing, and record keeping. He has worked with political parties, committees, and candidates at the state and federal level. Including Congress, Senate and Presidential. Thomas began his career as a finance intern at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN. He is a spouse, father, and marathon runner. He holds a Business Finance and Accounting degree from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN.
